| My 27th bday! |

We had such a nice day! We got up, got dressed, and went to Wendy's for lunch. Tommy cleaned out the car, and we headed to Burlington Coat Factory! I found a really nice jacket, and got one for Landen too! It's getting super cold, and windy now. Mine was only $32.99 original price $79.99!!!!! And Landen's was only $9.99. Can you believe that! We then headed home, and fed Landen dinner, and went to Oma and Opa's house. They gave me another cool jacket!! It's green, and really warm and fuzzy on the inside, so I have one for super cold weather (w/a hood) and one for rainy/wet, or just slightly cool days (w/a hood too....i love hoodies!)
My SIL Nicky gave me slippers that vibrate, and I'm still wearing them right now. They have that woolly soft stuff in them, and they are really comfortable. I also received a candle, and some socks. (nice!)
Then we kissed Landen goodbye, and we headed off to dinner at Longhorn's! YUM! I ate so much I thought I was going to POP. Robby and Ashley and Robert joined us, and then we headed to Robert's house for some TABOO fun! I swear that game is hilarious. Jackie couldn't make it, but she gave me the cutest maternity shirt that says "Ask me if I care..."
Well after the game we went and picked up munchkin, and went home. Landen was in bed, and we watched 6 feet under until almost 2 am....it was awesome!

Ok so I'm going as a pregnant or fat (glutinous) red riding hood. I bought a tight fitting men's longsleeve white t-shirt and I have a red hooded jacket. I wanted to make a sign for my shirt and pin it to it saying something cute like:

**edit** I'm not going.
Talked to the personnel manager, and she asked me to come in for the paperwork for LOA. Then I asked to speak to one of our Co-Mgrs. He wants me to come in for an exit-interview (bitch session) at 11 for which I will get paid. It sounds like another trap to me. I like him, but he doesn't know about anything that's been going on, and now that he's been tipped off by me that I'll be there to pickup my stuff he'll probably go talk to the frontend mgr. that I've been having so many problems with, and then they'll try to gang up on me.
In a nutshell:
Over labor day weekend I had to call out, and he became upset w/me over the phone, hung up on me.
2 Weeks ago I told him that I need to be transferred to another department, and he said he would see if he HAS to accommodate me, and will call the home office. Then he ignored me for a week, and then I found out he had gone on vacation for a week. So I told a co-mgr. that I wanted to be transferred, and he said he would talk to him when he got back.
Fast forward 2 weeks. My mgr. is ignoring me, I call him to see if I can do the phones (this was Friday). He said go ahead, then several hours!! yes hours later...he comes over with a CSM from up front, and starts raising his voice to me, and getting on to me for being on the phone. He told me if I can't be a cashier, then I need to go on leave (I was told this before by the head CSM months earlier as well). I told him that during the last months of my first pregnancy I was allowed to do phones, working around the schedules of the other old bats who do it, and he said it doesn't work that way anymore, and once again says that he'll call homeoffice to find out if he HAS to accommodate me, or if I need to go on leave. (yes he actually said it like that)
I told him that he can't force me to go on leave, that Walmart works with their associates, and in some cases bends over backwards to help them. He actually raised his voice to me (another associate folding clothes behind us heard him), and told me I wasn't listening to him...several times. I guess he considers me standing up for myself not listening. The CSM feels the need to jump in, and defend him, and tell me that what he's saying is that he'll try....ok.
So, I went to work on Sat. paged him, and asked him where they wanted me (I had specifically requested to be off the front end)....so where do they stick me but self-checkout, and then the door to "people greet", where I stood for over 2 hours! I did the phones for an hour, and then they stuck me back on self-checkout with no stool/chair. They tell me I can't have one. (yes I had a break in b/w) So I told the CSM I wanted to leave early b/c my back is killing me now, and with my history of pre-term labor I am trying to avoid a hospital trip, and medication.
As I'm leaving the Head CSM told me this isn't going to work, and that she doesn't need people for the door and the phone. I just walked away. And I didn't even bother showing up for work on Sunday.
***forgot to mention, that this has me so stressed out, that I've called Tommy in tears several times from work***

I'm so done working at Walmart, I'm a no call/no show for tomorrow, because I refuse to treat them with any respect, or should I say I'll give them as much as they've given me.
I might drive over on Monday to pop in to Personnel, and get my last papers for leave (just to keep the discount a bit longer), and talk to my manager only if I have to.
In a way I'm glad, relieved, but then this puts added pressure on Tommy to get a night job right away, and he's started applying, but I just wish we had more time....
Never ever work at Walmart! EVER!
No benefits, no maternity leave pay, no insurance (well extremely high deductibles), no respect for their employees.

Landen is doing soooo much better at night. I hear him wake up, but he crawls back into his own bed!!! I'm so excited that he's doing this on his own! We begin the go-to-bed routine at 8-830, and he is usually asleep by 9 pm IF he didn't take a nap during the day...so a million times better then he was. I'm so proud of my big boy!
He got a haircut today too!
